Dr. Jeff Hedrich

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What should I expect from a consultation?
A: Basically we have only two concerns; one is what is the problem, and the second is can chiropractic help.
Dr Hedrich is a stickler for details so he will ask a lot of questions and you will need to give him a clear and concise answer. After you are finished talking, if he thinks he can help you, he'll let you know. If he doesn't think he can, he'll try to find someone who might be able to.
Dr. Hedrich is always concerned about cost containment so that means he won't recommend any xrays, tests or treatment unless he feels it is absolutely necessary to fix your problem. Finally, Dr. Hedrich is a big believer in team work and he also believes that is why he gets the good results that he does. You will be asked to work together as a team and you will be asked to work as hard at it as he does, and Dr. Hedrich is a very hard worker.

Q: Will it work for me?
A: Our clinic has a very high success rate and around 90% of the patients report satisfaction with their care. You can join the hundreds of thousands of patients that have been helped by this procedure.
Dr. Hedrich is very experienced in determining if the NUCCA adjustment will be able to address your concerns. He will only treat you if he expects that you will benefit from the procedure. There are many health concerns that can be treated with the NUCCA adjustment but each case must be assessed individually.

Q: What should I bring to the consultation?
A: Once you've made your appointment you will need to bring any x-rays, MRI's or other related information that will help Dr. Hedrich assess your condition.

Q: I’ve had a car accident. What do I do next?
A: If you’ve recently been in an auto accident you need to call your insurance company within 10 days of the accident and fill out an AB1 form. Tell them that you’ve been injured and you want to see your chiropractor. Call our office to book your appointment and tell the receptionist that you’ve been in a car accident. We have extra forms and exams that need to be completed and have to make extra time available to accommodate you.

Q: Does Dr. Hedrich work only on the spine?
A: Dr. Hedrich can administer adjustments to extremities as well as work on the spine. Some people have problems such as:
  • hand pain including “Carpal Tunnel Syndrome”
  • cannot perform daily tasks such as buttoning clothing
  • pain in the joints of the fingers
  • elbow pain such as “tennis elbow”
  • shoulder pain and dislocation
  • rib adjustments
  • knee pain
  • foot and ankle pain

Q: Will my problem fix itself?
A: Your problem may feel better over time but the quality of the repair job will be poor without treatment and you may become more susceptible to future injury. But keep in mind not all problems are able to improve by themselves. Some problems absolutely require treatment even to feel just a little bit better. The problem lies in the fact that our bodies cannot repair themselves to 100%. If we could repair ourselves completely then we would be immortal. So, for the rest of us mere mortals, we need help to get ourselves healthy again.
